I have been majorly crushing on chenille this fall season, and I feel like I’m not the only one. I had been eyeing this chenille sweater at Nordstrom for a few months now, and finally took the plunge this weekend and bought it. Chenille sweaters are trending big time right now, and I had been dying to get my hands on one. This sweater is so soft and comfortable, it’s seriously like you’re wearing a cozy blanket! And can we talk about the color?! I have some major heart eyes for mustard yellow right now. I knew I couldn’t not buy this sweater in that color! With the price tag being $50, which is about the most I would ever pay for a sweater, I figured it was worth the splurge because of how much I would be wearing it. Does anyone else stand in the dressing room while looking at the adorable outfit you are trying on and in your head justifying why you need it. I wanted to buy this sweater in another color, but thought I would be “good” and just buy one haha.
This sweater is available online in 4 different colors, and I’m telling you, you’re going to want all of them. Blush pink, burgundy and grey, do you see what I mean?! I purchased an XS for reference and it’s a little big in the arms, so I would definitely not suggest sizing up. This sweater is not only perfect for fall, but also for the holiday season. I’m thinking this sweater would look adorable paired with a black suede skirt, tights and some booties! Such a cute holiday look 🙂
Sweater: Nordstrom | Jeans: H&M, old (similar here) | Booties: Forever 21, old (similar here, here, here) | Bag: Madewell | Watch: Daniel Wellington (Use code: LARKINS to get 15% off your purchase) | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
I paired this adorable sweater with my H&M jeans and my Forever 21 booties. Both of these items are old, but Nordstrom is actually having a huge shoe sale currently, and I found some very affordable suede booties on sale that I’m going to link below for you guys. Suede booties are one of those shoes that will never go out of style, so they are a definite must-have every fall/winter season!
Hope you guys all had a great weekend! One thing I learned from shooting this look, is how hard it is to get a cute photo throwing leaves. It’s definitely not as easy as it looks! These were the best photos that we could get, we really needed an assistant for this shoot haha 😉
