I have been so obsessed with gingham for a while, but had yet to actually buy anything with the gingham pattern. Shopping around the BP section of Nordstrom a few weeks ago, I found this Brandy Melville skirt for less than $30 and had to snag it. Gingham is all the rage right now, and to me, looks like the pattern of a picnic table-cloth haha. I was beyond excited when I found it, and immediately thought it would look perfect paired with a bodysuit. This bodysuit is from Nordstrom as well, and though it’s difficult when you need to use the restroom (because it buttons at the bottom), there is no longer the struggle of making sure your top is tucked in all the way around. The bodysuit completely fixes that problem, thank goodness!

I am a big fan of wearing the color black, as you can probably tell from most of my blog posts, so it’s no shocker that I decided to style this look with my black Steve Madden booties and Rebecca Minkoff bag. These booties, which I’ve worn in multiple blog posts, are literally the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned–no joke! They last a very long time, and are the perfect shoes if you will be walking a lot on a night out. I love that they literally go with any outfit that I’m wearing, which makes me feel so much better about spending $70 on them!

I hope everyone is having a nice and relaxing weekend. I’ve been busy recovering from a nasty cold, ugh! But honestly, laying in bed and binge-watching Laguna Beach all weekend hasn’t been too bad 😉

Thanks for reading!
