FriYAY Favorites Style

May 19, 2017

Happy Friday guys and gals! Hope your week wasn’t very painful. My brain has been on overload from all of the training I have been doing for my new position, so the weekend couldn’t come soon enough! I haven’t done a FriYAY Favorites in forever, so today I wanted to talk about a few of my favorite belts. I was never a belt person until probably around the time I got into the blogging world. One of my favorite bloggers, Olivia, who I mentioned in one of my posts this week (, completely got me into wearing belts. They are such an easy accessory to throw on to make your casual jean and tee outfit look a little more chic. Here are my top 5:

1. Nordstrom – Shot Edge Western Belt : Since the belt I’m wearing in the photo above is sold out, I found this somewhat similar one. I pair mine with my black ripped skinny jeans and a tight top. The perfect accessory to add a little something-something to your look.

2. Madewell – Medium Perfect Leather Belt : Everyone needs at least one black and one cognac belt in their closet. I love cognac accessories right now, such as my new Madewell tote I talked about, here. This belt will look adorable with your cutoff jean shorts and a casual tank this Summer. This belt also comes in black–highly recommend.

3. ASOS – Long Tipped Western Waist & Hip Belt : If you’re looking for a quality simple western belt, without the huge price tag, get this one! (also similar, here, here)

4. Target – Casual Western Belt : Just another western belt! This one though, is perfect for you to wear high around your waist with dresses or super high-waisted jeans. I love pairing this with my swing dress or mom jeans. I bought it in an XS for reference.

5. Nordstrom – Another Line Skinny Western Belt : A cognac western belt?! Say no more! This belt is definitely on my wish list.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. It’s supposed to be in the 80’s which I am stoked about 🙂 Can’t wait to lay out and get some good ol’ vitamin D!
