CROSS FRONT TEE

April 4, 2017

Nothing better than a simple tee to throw on when you are feeling too lazy to put together an outfit. I live for causal looks, especially pieces that don’t require much thought or effort, and I know I’m not the only one. Cross front tees have been trending over the past six months I would say, and I can’t get enough of them. They add a little something-something to your otherwise boring, plain t-shirt . I bought this one from Nordstrom a few weeks ago and instantly wanted to buy more. It unfortunately just sold out, but I linked two similar ones, both under $25. Perfect to pair with some boyfriend jeans and loafers.

AH, I love these shorts. I know I talked about them a lot here, but incase you missed that post, I will rave a little more about them. I love that they aren’t skin-tight, but loose, and almost feel like boyfriend jeans but in short form. Boyfriend shorts? Not sure if I made that up or not, but that’s what I’m going to call them. I wish they were a little less expensive, but I have such hard time finding good shorts, I just knew I had to buy them regardless of the price. These Amuse Society shorts also come in a few different colors which I’ve linked below for you! Highly recommend these babies if you are looking for a new pair of shorts. Also try American Eagle as well, they always have some good ones!

My pink Adidas! I haven’t been able to talk to you guys about them yet–so excited I finally can! I had done a little photo shoot with these shoes and mom jeans, and it just came out horrible. Nothing more disappointing than shooting an outfit you think looks super cute, and finding out while going through the photos afterwards, how unflattering the entire look actually is, boo! Anyways, that’s why it has taken me so long to post about these. I had to find the perfect casual outfit to pair them with! My dad bought me these tennies for Valentine’s Day (thanks Dad!) and I can’t get enough of them. I’m more of a neutrals gal, but I decided to step a little bit out of the box with these pink ones. Honestly, they weren’t the most comfortable when I started wearing them, but they seem to get a little more comfortable after each wear. But let’s be real, it doesn’t matter if they feel good, as long as they look good, am I right? 😉 Maybe it’s just me haha. You can buy these for less than $90, and they come in a few other different colors as well that I also linked below.

Cross Front Tee: Nordstrom, sold out (similar here, here) | Shorts: Amuse Society | Shoes: Adidas | Purse: Rebecca Minkoff | Sunglasses: Target, only in stores (similar here, here) | Watch: Nixon | Hat: Forever 21

I talked about my mirrored sunnies here, but they unfortunately can only be bought in stores at Target. But no worries, I found two other similar pairs that are linked above, as well as in the “Shop This Look” widget below.

Hope everyone’s week is off to a great start. This weekend was absolutely beautiful here in Southern California. I was able to go lay out at the beach in Laguna, and it totally felt like Summer. Thank goodness it isn’t though… I need to lose my marshmallow white skin before its officially “beach season.” I didn’t notice how white I actually was until this past weekend haha. I also saw Beauty and the Beast after hearing such great reviews about it. And let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint! It was so cute, you have to go see it if you haven’t already! Emma Watson was amazing 🙂
