I love them, I love them and I don’t care who knows it! Name that movie… if you guessed Elf, then you guessed right! I know, I know, another OTS post, but c’mon I love them, and I want to blog about things I love, right?! My style is just that, my style, and this just happens to be my absolute favorite trend right now 🙂 I’ve seen so many bloggers wearing a similar lace top to this one that is Free People and over $100 *thumbs down emoji*. Since there was no way in hell I was going to pay that much for a top, I knew I had to find a similar one for a lot less. Luckily, when I walked into Forever 21 a few weeks ago I spotted one right away, hallelujah! And the best part… it’s less than $20!
This top is the absolute cutest, (I use that phrase too much) and one of those tops that you can wear during the day or night. So perfect for spring/summer when you want to turn an outfit you wore during the day, into an evening look. It’s not see-through at all (yay!) and looks great paired with a choker or statement necklace. Highly recommend, like I said in my last post, to check out Forever 21 online if you’re on the hunt for some OTS tops.
I finally hopped on the round sunglasses trend, and it only took me two years to do so 😉 I tried on so many pairs over the years, and they just looked horrid on my small face. When I saw these ones at Target a little over a month ago, I thought okay fine, I’ll just try them on and see how they look–I was pleasantly surprised! I loved that they were mirrored (I have been wanting a pair) and they actually don’t look half bad on me haha. Aviators are always going to be my go-to, but it’s nice to switch things up every once in a while, especially if the price is right!

If you saw my Instagram this weekend, then you know I had the best weekend in San Deigo. We stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Downtown/Gaslamp District area. We had a suite that was to die for–I honestly had more fun hanging out in the room during the day, then when we went out that night. We started the day going to Crushed, the cutest little brunch place in Pacific Beach. Their mimosas are to die for! There was about 8 flavors to choose from, my favorites were lavender and elderflower. After brunch we headed back to the hotel to do a little bit of tanning, and then went to Cheesecake Factory right across the street from the hotel. If you are staying in the area, you have to try Puestos! It’s in the same shopping center as Cheesecake Factory, and they have the best tacos you will ever eat, I’m serious.
That night we went to a club called Omnia, and had a pretty fun time. I’m not so much a “club-goer,” mainly because of the creepy guys, but us three girls still managed to have a great time. I had such an amazing weekend that I already booked my next trip back there for my birthday in June! Another girls trip, woohoo!
