So exited to share this look with you, it’s one of my favorites so far! I said I was going to try to step out of the box with some more looks that didn’t feature denim. I have such a love for jeans, but I noticed all of my outfits consisted of them, so new year, some new looks 🙂 This trench coat, which isn’t featured much in my photos (besides as an accessory), is the best coat. It’s very lightweight and so perfect to dress up any outfit. I dress very casually at work, but every now and again it’s nice to step up my outfit game, and this is an easy go-to in the morning. Look good feel good, right?! The best part about the coat… it’s under $30! I have linked it above, as well as other similar trench coats like it.
The turtleneck tank is from Forever 21 and I love that you can wear it with anything! I had hard time finding one like it, so I tried to find some tops that were somewhat similar. I paired this top and coat with a Brandy Melville suede skirt from Nordstrom. This skirt is perfect for a night out, dinner date, and even throw some tights on and it would be a cute office look as well. This skirt was under $30 as well–no complaints from me! The heels I have only wore a handful of times–they were originally purchased to wear to my first job interviews after graduation. I think they are so classic, and with not that big of a heel, they are very appropriate for any occasion. I had bought them from Macy’s almost two years ago, so I linked a similar pair from DSW.
Is anyone stoked for the new year? For me, it came at the perfect time. I had a rough end to my 2016, but I am so ready for a fresh start focusing on myself, my job, producing more content for the blog, and being happy with where I am in life 🙂
Here’s to a great 2017!
