If you have been trying to figure out what to wear to all of your holiday get-togethers this month, then look no further! I have been looking for a corduroy skirt for a while now, and finally found this adorable Brandy Melville one. I was so dead set on a beige skirt, but with no luck finding a cheap one, I finally decided to be more open to other colors. I bought this skirt at Nordstrom for under $30, which was right in my price range! The turtleneck sweater is from Abercrombie, and it’s currently on sale for less than $25– grab it while you can! I love how thin it is. It’s great for when the weather isn’t “turtleneck weather” but you still want to wear one *insert cheesy emoji*.
I paired this corduroy skirt with sheer tights–which I haven’t worn in years! I recently remembered how much I used to love styling outfits with them, so I ran to the mall and bought these ones from H&M. For under $6 you get two pairs, which is great for when you rip one (it happens to me every time). The sheer tights add a more holiday and mature feel to this look, not so little-girl-wearing-a-corduroy-skirt-and-turtleneck 😉 I can’t remember where I bought these booties, so I linked a few different pairs above–all under $100!
I am full on in the holiday spirit! My family and I have our Christmas tree and all of the holiday decorations up in the house. I LOVE walking in the door after work and smelling the tree–I wish we could have it up all year around. There is something about the lights that make me feel so cheery 🙂 I wanted to tell you guys I’m going to be working on posting more, as well as making it an early new years resolution to learn how to bake and cook some yummy recipes that I can share with you guys. I feel like it’s about time I learn how to cook–I want to at least be able to learn a few recipes and really nail them!
