Cardigan: Forever 21 | Jeans: Abercrombie & Fitch | Booties: Payless | Purse: Rebbecca Minkoff

Happy MondYAY! Trying to start this week on a positive note, hence the YAY. This weekend was not my weekend for taking blog photos, let me tell you! The first day we went too late and all the of the photos were turning out dark, plus I hated how I styled my outfit. And the day I took these photos, we went right smack in the middle of the day, when the sun was at its brightest, which is the WORST time to take photos. I came home a tad upset, okay, very upset, and realized once I edited them, that they turned out way better than I thought they would. I honestly think this color block cardigan makes the photos. Is it not the cutest?!

I got this cardigan at Forever 21 for less than $30 (it’s linked above). I love that it has that coat feel to it, yet it’s pretty light. I paired it with a white tee and plain black jeans from Abercrombie. I’m telling you, I have been looking for a pair for a month or two now, and they are not as easy as you would think to find. I needed a pair that weren’t distressed because I can’t wear those to work, yet every pair I saw had holes in them. It must have been my lucky day, because Abercrombie was having a jean sale this past weekend, and these babies were less than $40! I haven’t bought jeans from there since probably middle school, but I love that they have short sizes. I hate having skinny jeans that are too long and bunch up at the bottom. They have to be able to look good with my booties!

Speaking of booties, I am in love with my new red suede ones. Yes, I bought them from Payless, can you believe it! They were less than $30, great quality, plus they are comfortable! I was walking by Payless a month or two ago and saw them in the window–I just had to try them on! I guess I will start looking for boots there more often 🙂 I love that they aren’t too bright, yet it’s the perfect pop of color for my normally neutral-colored outfits.

Cheers to Monday being over! I hope everyone has a stress-free week,

xojordyn
