Yay, we got through the hardest day of the week, Monday! I wanted to share a few of my favorite fall pieces with you that are under $50! Scrolling through Instagram I see the cutest clothes and shoes that are way too expensive, but luckily you can find almost anything for half the price by doing a little bargain hunting. Doesn’t it feel SO good when you find the sweater or boots that you have been obsessing over in your price range. One of my favorite Nordstrom finds is this colorblock poncho. What could be more fall than a poncho? I’m loving the color combo and that it’s perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a trip to the pumpkin patch, or a casual day at the office.
Distressed denim is a key part of my wardrobe. My go-to always is a pair of ripped jeans, a comfy top and booties. These Topshop jeans were shockingly under $50, and to me, a must-have! What goes great with your distressed black denim? How about a utility or moto jacket. Pair it with a baseball hat and tennies and you have the perfect casual look. Both of these jackets are great for any time of the year. You can pair them with a dress, jeans or even your favorite cutoff shorts. I don’t own either of these jackets but I definitely need to add them to my closet pronto! Like I’ve said before, a great jacket can totally make your outfit.
Bell sleeves, bell sleeves, bell sleeves–easily my current favorite trend! I was expecting this top from Nordstrom to be a lot more expensive than it was, luckily for me it was reasonably priced. How do you guys feel about bell sleeves? I can’t get enough, especially bell sleeve sweaters. Please can this trend stay awhile! Another trend creeping its way back into people’s closets this fall is velvet. Velvet slip dresses, blouses, skirts, and my personal favorite, shoes. It’s interesting seeing how certain trends always find a way of popping back up (such as chokers). Velvet clothing is not so much my thing, velvet shoes, YES please. Forever 21 sells these velvet booties in both black and red for under $40–I want both!
It’s so easy to feel bummed when you can’t afford certain items that give you major heart eyes, but just remember, brands like Forever 21 and H&M thrive over the fact that they can produce something similar that is affordable! You just gotta look around 😉
What are some of your favorite fall trends? Let me know!
